Is Seminyak safe?
Generally speaking, Seminyak is considered safe for visitors. It’s one of Bali’s most popular and comfortable destinations with well-developed infrastructure that’s suitable for families, couples, and solo travellers.

How to get to Seminyak?

Is there traffic in Seminyak?
Bali’s traffic has gained some notoriety after the pandemic ended, and yes, Seminyak’s traffic can be quite heavy at times. However, it is usually during peak hours and high seasons. Traffic in Seminyak is no different from traffic in Ubud, Uluwatu, or Canggu.
What other areas can I visit outside of Seminyak?
Seminyak is a convenient location with easy access to almost all of South Bali. Just west of Seminyak is Canggu, south-east you’ll hit Kuta and Legian, and a little north you’ll be in Denpasar.
Further south of Seminyak is Uluwatu, Jimbaran, and Nusa Dua. And with a 45 min driver heading east, you’ll get to Sanur. Ubud is about a 1.5 – 2 hour ride northwards.
Should I stay in Seminyak or Ubud?
Seminyak and Ubud both have their own unique personalities and advantages. With Seminyak, you’ll be close to Bali Airport and neighbouring areas like Canggu and Kuta.
Another major plus is that you’ll be closer to the beach – Ubud is almost in the centre of Bali so no access to beaches there.
