FAQs
Is North Bali Worth Visiting?
North Bali is a hidden gem as a whole. Stunning waterfalls, black sand beaches, rice terraces, and vast stretches of pure nature. It’s perfect for escaping the crowds of South Bali for a unique experience.
Can I book a North Bali Day Tour from South Bali?
Yes! This tour booking includes pick-up and drop-off to and from anywhere in Bali. You do not need to stay in North Bali to book the day tour.
Where to see dolphins in North Bali?
The most popular spot for dolphin watching is in Lovina. My Lovina Dolphin Watching Day Tour gives you the experience of a private dolphin watching tour in the morning and the rest of the day to explore Bali – for a total of 12 hours from pick-up until drop-off.
What to wear during the North Bali Day Tour?
Dress light. North Bali is only slightly cooler than South Bali. In some mountainous areas like Bedugul or Jatiluwih you might experience even cooler temperatures with the occasional rainfall, especially during Bali’s rainy season.
Is there any entrance fee for North Bali?
There is no entrance fee for North Bali. For Jatiluwih, the entrance fee is IDR 50k per person.
What else to do in Lovina?
Even though Lovina is a small fishing village, there’s plenty to do in and around Lovina. Read my guide on the best things to do in Lovina.
How long is the North Bali Day Tour?
Your car and driver is all yours for 12 hours. This a few hours longer than my other day tours (10 hours) due to the fact that North Bali is much further away – giving you more time to explore.
Will I be able to visit every attraction?
It’s possibly but only if you rush through each stop – I don’t recommend it. Choose the best attractions that interest you and take your time with each. Remember to get lots of photos!
