Ling Ling’s Bali – Seminyak’s Ultimate Asian Fusion Hotspot

Bali is not just a paradise for beach lovers and party animals, but also a haven for foodies (and drinkers) hunting for something different. Our little island is filled with fun restaurants that turn every meal into an adventure.

Ling Ling’s Bali is the crown jewel of Asian-fusion in Seminyak, and in my opinion, an underrated gem. Its a place where Japanese, Korean, and Chinese food meet an upbeat, lively setting – truly showcasing the creativity in Bali’s food scene.

Ling Ling’s Bali Location

Ling Ling’s Bali is situated on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, a street famous for it’s diverse collection of restaurants, cafes, bars, and night clubs. It’s located right beside The Forge Bali and Shooters Bali, convenient for a complete night out without having to stray too far.

The interior is a reflection of the menu – Asian-inspired with a touch of sleekness and modernity. You’ll have the choice of sitting at the front by the entrance. One of the booths lined along the side, or the semi-open air backyard with a retractable roof. I’d recommend sitting here to get a more accurate feel of the place.

The ambiance is one of my favourite elements of Ling Ling’s Bali. It’s casual enough for a chill lunch, yet chic enough to enjoy a fancy dinner. The decor is quite Instagram-worthy, providing an aesthetic environment to enhance your photos. Hey, if you didn’t post on Instagram stories, did you even go?

Food at Ling Ling’s Bali

The food menu is the epitome of Asian-fusion cuisine – sushi rolls, Korean tacos, Chinese chicken, and Japanese pork ribs – truly a culinary trip around East Asia.

On Sundays you can enjoy 50% off their Creative Sushi menu. Not a bad deal after a hectic weekend. Go for the Tuna Sambal Matah Roll or the Dragon Roll if you’re a fiend for spicy.

On Tuesdays, you can eat yourself into a food coma with their $1 tacos. And who says tacos need to be Mexican? Ling Ling’s Korean tacos deliver a twist on the typical recipe with distinct sauces and spices.

Their Funky Fridays are even better. 50% off a special menu of selected food and drinks. These can range anywhere from $2 – $5 a pop. Fantastic way to start the weekend.

There’s not much when it comes to desserts. If you’re craving something sweet after your meal, then I would suggest going somewhere else after. The handful of sweets include brownie ice cream, a few selections of gelato, and mango pancake.

Since they open at 11:00 am, Ling Ling’s Bali is more suitable for lunch or dinner.

Drinks at Ling Ling’s Bali

The drinks at Ling Ling’s are just as fantastic as its food. With a vibrant cocktail menu that follows the Asian-fusion theme, you’ll have a wide range of delicious drinks to enjoy with your meal.

If you’re old-school, go for something classic like an Amaretto Sour or their Luna (espresso martini). Or if you have a bit of a sweet tooth, their Yoko or Haruto cocktail is both fruity and refreshing.
