Renon is one of Denpasar’s cleanest and most organised neighbourhoods, known for wide streets, government buildings, and a calm, local atmosphere.
The area centres around the Bajra Sandhi Monument and the huge park that wraps around it, where people jog, walk dogs, or hit the weekend markets.
You’ll find plenty of cafes, family-friendly restaurants, and a slower, everyday vibe that feels very different from the tourist hotspots.
It’s a great base if you want to stay close to Sanur without the crowds or you’re curious to see what normal Balinese city life looks like.
