Lovina is a small coastal town in North Bali that’s known for being popular among dolphins. The coast offers black sand beaches with relatively calm waters which play a vital role in setting a relaxed tone for a holiday with the family and kids.

Aside from the dolphins in Lovina, you can also explore destinations in the surrounding towns in North Bali such as centuries-old temples, instagrammable waterfalls, and holy hot springs.

Even if you won’t be staying in Lovina, it’s at least worth a day trip to experience this often overlooked side of Bali.
