You will stroll through the buzzing mazes of Pasar Badung and witness the everyday lives of locals – from vendors passionately preparing dishes, to local families gathering for a meal.
Your driver will be your translator and tour guide as you encounter a wide variety of food. You can also continue the journey through the surrounding areas of the market Kumbasari Market (great spot for souvenirs) and the thrift vendors in the back alleys.

- Bakso – Indonesian meatball soup. You must try it at least once during your Bali trip.
- Nasi Goreng / Mie Goreng – Nasi (rice), Mie (noodles, Goreng (fried) – you get the picture.
- Babi Guling – Bali’s signature dish, roasted suckling pig marinated with loads of herbs and spices.
- Udang Keju – Doughy shrimp stuffed with cheese then deep-fried until crispy.

Included in your Denpasar Food Tour is your own private, air-conditioned SUV and a friendly, English-speaking driver who will also act as your guide. You will be picked up from your hotel or villa and taken to the night market to explore, then dropped off at the end of the tour. How long will the tour be?
In total, the Denpasar Food Tour will take about 5 hours from pick-up until drop-off. The time spent at Badung night market will be around 3 hours, but if you feel the need to leave earlier, you can simply tell your driver.
This booking is fully private. You will not be sharing the experience with strangers. Whether you book by yourself or with your friends, the experience is private.
How many people can join me?
You can have up to 5 other friends and family join you on the Denpasar Food Tour. The SUV fits up to 6 passengers. You can also upgrade to a Toyota Innova for a bit more room.
Are food costs included?
Food costs are not included to give you the freedom to try whichever food you wish. Street food at the night market is relatively cheap and shouldn’t hurt the wallet. Make sure to bring some extra IDR cash with you.
What if I don’t eat pork?
If you’re avoiding pork or your diet requires Halal food, there are many Javanese-Muslim vendors at the night market who serves Halal food and non-pork menus.
