About the Canang Sari Workshop
The Canang Sari Workshop is an immersive experience that will take you beyond the tourist sights and into the heart of Balinese culture. The workshop is lead by a Jero (spiritual leader) priestess who will introduce you to the philosophy behind the Canang Sari, the materials used, and the symbolic meaning behind each element.

It’s a 2-hour crash course on the traditional craftsmanship of women in a Balinese family who create these offerings on a daily basis. When the Canang Sari is ready, you’ll move on to how the Puja (prayer) is done around the home.
To make it an authentic experience, your booking also includes a traditional Balinese outfit to wear during the workshop. You’ll also get to try a few Balinese snacks and perhaps learn a few words!
The price for the Canang Sari Workshop starts at AUD $24 / USD $15 per person. You can also choose to include private pick-up and drop-off, or to make it an Ubud Day Tour to continue exploring Ubud.
