If quality meat is being served, expect me to find me there. Pair that with some elegant ambience and stunning tropical views of Bali and you have yourself a memorable dining experience during your Bali holiday
Dining at Blossom Steakhouse is worthy of bragging rights. Situated in Sanur’s Icon Bali Mall, the restaurant is aiming for a spot on my Best Steak in Bali list, with their quality beef, impressive flavour, and impeccable food presentation.
Blossom Steakhouse
Located on the east end of Icon Bali Mall in Sanur, Blossom Steakhouse is essentially an upscale steak and seafood restaurant. It was opened on July 12th 2024, so it’s relatively fresh to the Bali food scene.
Although they’re quite new, they step into ring as strong competition with impressive interior design, top-notch service, and a mouthwatering beef selection that could turn almost anyone into a full fledged carnivore.

What to eat at Blossom Steakhouse Bali
First let’s talk about the steak. In-house dry-ager, top quality beef, vibrant flavours, all curated and lead by award-winning Executive Chef Brenton Banner with over 14 years under his belt of working on the front lines of several esteemed restaurants – expect nothing less than an exceptional dining experience.

Blossom Steakhouse selections range through Australian, Indonesian, Japanese, and American beef – truly a meat lover’s heaven. Whether you choose the Aussie O’Connor Rib Eye, a Kagoshima A5 Striploin, or a hefty American 1100g 30-day dry aged Tomahawk, you’ll be in for a treat.
For the starters, the beef tartare and bone marrow are my go-tos. The serving sizes are fairly generous for starters but take your time and appreciate every bite. You can also go for some cured salmon or tuna tostada to start off with.

The beef tartare at Blossom Steakhouse is no joke. As someone who orders beef tartare on almost every given opportunity, I must emphasize that this was an impressive taste. Finely chopped beef mixed with rich, creamy egg yolk – the epitome of “melts in your mouth.”
Next up is the seafood. Grab yourself some whole butterflied prawns – absolutely soft and delicious. Dip those in some Chimichurri sauce for an exquisite flavour. If you’re craving for some more shells, they have the Mixed Grilled Seafood with prawns, slipper lobster, octupus and scallops.
Alternatives include soups, salads, some sides to snack on like french fries, grilled corn, roasted pumpkin, and the zucchini pesto with dried feta – which caught me completely off guard with how refreshing it was.

You’ll have a handful of choices when it comes to dessert. Creme brulee, chocolate mousse, gelato and Pavlova (pictured above). I’m not certain you’ll have room for dessert after your starters, mains, and sides, but hey, it’s good to be ambitious!
Drinks at Blossom Steakhouse Bali
There’s no shortage of drinks at Blossom Steakhouse. Whether you need a cold refreshing draught beer after a hot day at Sanur Beach, or craving a cocktail or glass of wine to wash down your steak, they have you covered.
As expected, the wine selection has enough options for every preference. Go for a glass of sparkling, rose, red, or white. Or take your palette on a trip with an international wine from their sommelier selection. Ask the staff for the best wine to pair with your meal.

I’d recommend the Spicy Margarita or Blossom Chicos from their signature cocktail menu – IDR 150k++ each. They have a handful of classic cocktails on the menu but I’m sure the bartender can easily manage your request.
For the non-alcoholics, there are enough mocktail choices for you to sip on. Alternatively, you can have some tea, coffee, fruit juice, or settle for some plain ol’ water.
Blossom Steakhouse Bali Location
As I mentioned above, Blossom Steakhouse is located in Icon Bali Mall, Bali’s newest mall in Sanur which is set to be one of the biggest in Southeast Asia. The restaurant sits on the east end of the mall on the ground floor.

You can choose to dine inside with the luxurious interior, or enjoy your meal outside on the terrace facing Sanur Beach’s blue waters. There’s also a VIP room available for small gatherings. The atmosphere of each corner boasts a refined feel enhanced by the intricate details.
From the moment you enter the door at Blossom Steakhouse, you’ll immediately feel the intended ambiance – warm lighting, green accents, marble tables – while you dine with the ocean in the near distance.

Final Thoughts on Blossom Steakhouse
In summary, I think Blossom Steakhouse is a good option if you’re hunting for a restaurant to take your time to truly appreciate a meal. This isn’t somewhere you’d want to chow down and stuff your mouth (but who’s stopping you?)
The staff and service is exceptional. The location itself feels premium. The design and decor of the restaurant enhances your dining pleasures. And the food, well I’m not sure how much more I can say about the food.
Admittedly, the prices aren’t cheap. Expect to pay at least IDR 500k for a complete meal. However, you’re guaranteed to get the value you pay for. If you’re craving steak, don’t take the risk by looking for somewhere cheap.

Your most convenient option, book a private car and driver to take you to Blossom Steakhouse, especially if you aren’t staying in Sanur and are traveling with your family or group of friends. You can take your time shopping at Icon Bali Mall, enjoy some steak and seafood, and even explore other destinations without having to worry about transport.
You’ll be picked up from your hotel or villa by a friendly, English-speaking driver with a well-maintained, air-conditioned SUV, and taken to the destinations of your choice – fuel, taxes, driver, vehicle, and 10 hours are all included.

If you’re renting a scooter in Bali, you’ll be parking in the basement parking of Icon Bali Mall. Scooter parking is IDR 2k per hour. Keep in mind, at the time of writing this, the mall parking is quite confusing as the facilities are still in progress since the mall is still quite new.
Alternatively, if you prefer to catch a taxi, there is a taxi queue at the front of the mall by the main entrance. You shouldn’t have a hard time finding one.
